Brion is a French municipality with 226 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Montmorillon and the canton of Lussac-les-Châteaux (until 2015: canton of Gençay ). The inhabitants are called Brionnais .

Brion is located about 29 kilometers south-southeast of Poitiers on the Clouère . Brion is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Maurice-la-Clouère in the north and north-west, Saint-Laurent-de-Jourdes in the east and north-east, Bouresse in the east, Saint-Secondin in the south, La Ferrière-Airoux in the south-west, Magné in the west and Gençay in the northwest.
