geography
The municipality is located about 40 kilometers southeast of Poitiers and 40 kilometers northwest of Bellac . The river Vienne forms the eastern boundary of Queaux . Neighboring municipalities are Gouex in the north, Persac in the east, Moussac in the south-east, L'Isle-Jourdain in the south, Usson-du-Poitou in the south-west and Bouresse in the north-west.
The districts of La Pommeraie, Puirajoux, Chez Renard, Peussot, La Roche, La Papinière, Chamousseau, Préau, Château Gaillard and Le Chaussat belong to the municipality of Queaux .
