Persac is a western French city and a municipality with 770 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Montmorillon and the canton of Lussac-les-Châteaux . The inhabitants are called Persacois .
location
Persac is about 38 kilometers southeast of Poitiers . Here the rivers Grande Blourde and Petite Blourde flow into the Vienne , which forms the western municipal boundary. Persac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lussac-les-Châteaux in the north, Sillars in the north-east, Saulgé and Moulismes in the east, Adriers in the south and south-east, Nérignac in the south, Moussac in the south and south-west, Queaux in the west and south-west and Gouex in the north-west.
