Néstor Correa (born August 23, 1974 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
Player activity

The 1.74-meter-tall offensive player Correa was part of the Liverpool Montevideo team at the beginning of his career from 1991 to the end of 1995 . In 1996 and 1997 he played for Nacional Montevideo . From 1998 to mid-1999, Shanghai Shenhua was his employer. In July 1999 he returned to Liverpool Montevideo and stayed there until the end of 2001. In 2002, a career station at Club Deportivo FAS in El Salvador followed . His club won both the Clausura and the Apertura of the Primera División that year . By the end of 2004, he then joined El Tanque Sisley . At the beginning of 2005 he was signed by LDU Portoviejo . From the Ecuadorians, he moved to Club Atlético Platense at the beginning of the following year and stayed with the Uruguayan club until the end of 2007. The last career station from 2008 to mid-2009 is an unspecified Argentine club.
National team
Correa was a member of the Uruguayan U-17 national team that competed in the 1991 U-17 World Cup . In the tournament he played two games (no goal). He was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 selection at the U-20 South American Championship in Colombia in 1992 . Uruguay finished the tournament as vice South American champion. During the tournament he was used by coach Ángel Castelnoble four times (no goal). With the junior selection , he contested the Junior World Cup in 1993 and was used twice in that competition (no goal).
