Romagne is a French village with 887 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Arrondissement Montmorillon , in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it is part of the canton of Lusignan (until 2015: canton of Couhé ). The inhabitants are called Romagnons .

geography

Romagne is about 35 kilometers south of Poitiers . The Clain limits the community in the north. Romagne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champagné-Saint-Hilaire in the north, Sommières-du-Clain in the east, Saint-Romain in the south-east, Champniers in the south, Blanzay in the south and south-west, Brux in the west and south-west and Vaux in the north-west.
