Brigueil-le-Chantre is located about 59 kilometers east-southeast of Poitiers , in the east of the historical province of Poitou . The community is affected by the Asse river , which crosses the main town in an interesting double loop. The Narablon River runs to the west . Neighboring municipalities of Brigueil-le-Chantre are La Trimouille and Thollet in the north, Coulonges in the northeast, Lussac-les-Églises in the east and southeast, Verneuil-Moustiers and Azat-le-Ris in the south, Bourg-Archambault in the west and southwest and Saint -Léomer to the west and northwest.
