Lussac-les-Églises , in Occitan "Luçac", is a municipality with 532 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Haute-Vienne department , the Bellac arrondissement and the Châteauponsac canton . The residents call themselves Lussacois. During the French Revolution, the place names were "La Patrie" and "Lussac-la-Patrie".

It is bordered by Brigueil-le-Chantre in the north-west, Coulonges in the north, Tilly in the north-east, Saint-Martin-le-Mault in the east, Jouac in the south-east, Saint-Léger-Magnazeix in the south, Magnac in the south-west -Laval (point of contact) and Tersannes and to the west at Verneuil-Moustiers . The municipality is crossed by the Asse river.
