The Asse is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Hilaire-la-Treille , generally drains to the northwest and flows into the Benaize as a left tributary after about 44 kilometers at the municipal boundary of La Trimouille and Thollet . On its way, the Asse crosses the Haute-Vienne and Vienne departments .
