The Benaize is a river in France that runs through the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Center-Val de Loire regions. It rises in the municipality of La Souterraine , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and flows 79 kilometers below Saint-Hilaire-sur-Benaize as a left tributary into the Anglin . In the mouth section it reaches the Regional Nature Park Brenne . On its entire route, it crosses the Creuse , Haute-Vienne , Vienne and Indre departments .
