Val d'Issoire is a commune in the French department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It is located in the canton of Bellac in the arrondissement of Bellac .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the merger of the previous municipalities of Bussière-Boffy and Mézières-sur-Issoire .

It borders on Oradour-Fanais and Gajoubert in the northwest , Saint-Martial-sur-Isop and Saint-Bonnet-de-Bellac in the north, Peyrat-de-Bellac in the east, Blond and Nouic in the southeast, and Saint in the south -Christophe , in the southwest with Lesterps , in the west with Brillac .
