Pressac ( Occitan : Preissac ) is a western French community with 576 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Montmorillon and the canton of Civray (until 2015: canton of Availles-Limouzine ). The inhabitants are called Pressacois .

Pressac is located about 54 kilometers south-southeast of Poitiers at an altitude of about 162 meters above sea level. d. M am Clain . Pressac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-l'Ars in the north, Availles-Limouzine in the east, Lessac in the south-east, Hiesse in the south, Épenède in the south-west, Pleuville in the west and Mauprévoir in the north-west.
The former Route nationale 741 runs through the municipality .
