The Clain is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Hiesse , generally drains in a northerly direction and flows into the Vienne as a left tributary after 144 kilometers at Cenon-sur-Vienne , south of Châtellerault .
