Saint-Benoît is located on the Clain River , into which the Miosson flows, and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Poitiers in the north, Mignaloux-Beauvoir in the east, Nouaillé-Maupertuis in the southeast, Smarves in the south and Ligugé in the southwest.
