Bonnes is a French village with 1,729 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Poitiers and the canton of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (until 2015: canton of Saint-Julien-l'Ars ). The inhabitants are called Bonnois .
geography
Bonnes is about 19 kilometers east-northeast of Poitiers on the Vienne . Bonnes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bellefonds in the north, Archigny in the north-east, Chauvigny in the south and east, Jardres in the south and south-west, Lavoux and Liniers in the west and La Chapelle-Moutière in the north-west.
The former route nationale 151 (today's D951) runs along the southern edge of the municipality .
