The Senefelder School (short Sene or sfst ) is a cooperative comprehensive school with middle - secondary school - and school branch in Treuchtlingen , a town in Middle Franconia district Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . It is the only state cooperative comprehensive school in Bavaria . In the 2014/2015 school year, the school had 57 classes with 1317 students (including upper secondary school), making it the largest school in the district and one of the largest schools in Middle Franconia. The school is named after Alois Senefelder .

construction

The Senefelder School is a special kind of school (according to Art. 126 Para. 2 BayEUG). It is run as an amalgamation of a middle school, a secondary school and a grammar school under one management with a joint teaching staff. Possible degrees at the school are middle school certificate , qualifying middle school certificate , middle school certificate of the M-Zug , secondary school certificate and high school diploma ; the curricula are identical to those of other Bavarian schools.

The middle school belongs together with the middle school Markt Berolzheim - Dittenheim to the middle school association south. An M train is integrated. The secondary school offers the four branches mathematical and natural science, commercial, linguistic with French as a second foreign language and socially with the profile subject household and nutrition . The grammar school offers a scientific-technological and a linguistic branch. The upper level of the Senefelder School is organizationally assigned to the Werner von Siemens Grammar School in Weißenburg as part of a cooperation . A high school introductory class is available.

At the request of the Weißenburg district in Bavaria , it was decided in 1970 to found an integrated comprehensive school based on a resolution by the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs in Treuchtlingen. The first school year is 1971/1972 in the building of the Hahnenkamm School under the name Staatliche Gesamtschule Treuchtlingen with six classes. In 1974 the school moved to the current building, which was completed in 1975. In 1974 the school already had 39 classes with 1200 students. In 1980 there was a conversion into today's cooperative comprehensive school with secondary school, secondary school and grammar school courses; In 1983 the school was given its current name. 2016 is the expected start of construction on a new school building.

In the 2014/2015 school year, the school had 57 classes and high school courses with 1,317 students; in 2013/2014 there were 55 classes with 1,338 students. The middle school train counted 391 students in 2014/2015, making it the second largest middle school in the district after the Weißenburg middle school. The Realschulzug counted 506 students in 2014/2015, making it the second largest Realschule in the district after the State Realschule Weissenburg . The high school branch had 420 students (including upper school) in 2014/2015, making it the smallest high school in the district. The school had its highest enrollment in the late 1970s with over 1,700 students, and its lowest in the late 1980s with over 1,100 students.
