La Chapelle-Moulière is located about 18 kilometers northeast of Poitiers . The Vienne forms the eastern boundary of the municipality. La Chapelle-Moulière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bonneuil-Matours in the north, Bellefonds in the east, Bonnes in the south-east, Liniers in the south, Montamisé in the west and south-west and Saint-Georges-lès-Baillargeaux in the north-west.
