Tercé is a French village with 1,116 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Poitiers and the canton of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (until 2015: canton of Saint-Julien-l'Ars ). The inhabitants are called Tercéens .

Tercé is about 18 kilometers east-southeast of Poitiers . Tercé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Julien-l'Ars in the north and northwest, Pouillé in the northeast, Valdivienne in the east and southeast, Fleuré in the south and Savigny-Lévescault in the west.
