Béruges is a French commune with 1,469 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Béruges belongs to the Arrondissement Arrondissement Poitiers and the canton Vouneuil-sous-Biard (until 2015: canton Vouillé ). The inhabitants are called Bérugeois .

Béruges is about ten kilometers west of Poitiers on the banks of the Boivre River . Béruges is surrounded by the neighboring communities
