Savigny-Lévescault is a French village with 1,168 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Poitiers and the canton of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (until 2015: canton of Saint-Julien-l'Ars ). The inhabitants are called Savignois .

Savigny-Lévescault is located about eleven kilometers east-southeast of Poitiers . Savigny-Lévescault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Julien-l'Ars in the north and northeast, Tercé in the east, Fleuré in the southeast, Nieuil-l'Espoir in the south and Mignaloux-Beauvoir in the west and northwest.
