Außenried is a district of the municipality of Langdorf in the Lower Bavarian district of Regen .

Außenried is located in the Bavarian Forest about three kilometers east of Langdorf and about as far west of Zwiesel on the state road 2132.
history
Like Innenried and Zwieselberg, Außenried was first mentioned in a document from 1409. It later formed a chairman in the district court of Zwiesel. When the tax districts were formed in 1805, Außenried came to the Brandten tax district and in 1813 to the Brandten rural community in the Regen district court. In 1808 the place consisted of eight properties.
When the Zwiesel – Bodenmais railway line was built in 1928 , Außenried received its own stop. In the course of the regional reform it came together with the dissolved community of Brandten on January 1, 1976 to the community of Langdorf.
Attractions
- Chapel. It was built on September 4, 1854 on the grounds of a pledge after a fire on the Schönberger property and renovated in 1969. Due to the large volume of traffic on State Road 2132, it was rotated 180 degrees in 1995 so that the entrance no longer faces the street.
