history
The place was founded by Hans Sigmund von Degenberg, the last Degenberger . With six estates, Prändt is listed for the first time in the pen book of the rule of Weißenstein in 1596. 1808 from the main teams Brandten and Schwarzach and the chairman shaft Außenried the control district formed Brandten. From this, the rural community of Brandten emerged in 1813 . In the 20th century, Froschau and Reisachmühle were added to the original parts of the municipality of Brandten, Außenried and Schwarzach , while the Jägerhaus wasteland, which was recorded as part of the municipality in 1821, was last listed in 1867 under the name Berghäusl .
