Montamisé is about five kilometers northeast of the city center of Poitiers . Montamisé is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Georges-lès-Baillargeaux in the north and north-west, La Chapelle-Moulière in the north-east, Liniers in the east, Bignoux in the south-east, Poitiers in the south and south-west, Buxerolles in the south-west and Chasseneuil-du-Poitou in the west and northwest.
