Blanzay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Romagne in the north and northeast, Champniers in the east and northeast, Savigné in the east and southeast, Saint-Pierre-d'Exideuil in the south, Champagné-le-Sec in the southwest, Chaunay in the west and Brux in the northwest.
