geography
Jouhet is about 39 kilometers east-southeast of Poitiers . The Gartempe limits the community to the west. Jouhet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Antigny in the north, Haims in the east, Journet in the southeast, Montmorillon in the south, Pindray in the west and southwest and Leignes-sur-Fontaine in the west and northwest.
