Savigné is about 47 kilometers south of Poitiers . Savigné is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champniers in the north, La Chapelle-Bâton in the east and north-east, Charroux in the east, Genouillé in the south, Civray in the south-west, Saint-Pierre-d'Exideuil in the west and Blanzay in the north-west.
