Béthines is a French village with 473 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it is part of the arrondissement of Montmorillon and the canton of Montmorillon (until 2015: canton of Saint-Savin ). The inhabitants are called Béthinois .

Béthines is located about 49 kilometers east of Poitiers on the Salleron . Béthines is surrounded by the neighboring communities Ingrandes in the north, Concremines in the north and northeast, Saint-Hilaire-sur-Benaize in the east, Liglet in the southeast, Journet in the south, Haims in the south and southwest, Villemort in the west and Saint-Germain in the west and Northwest.
