Voulon is a French village with 467 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Arrondissement Montmorillon , in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it is part of the canton of Lusignan (until 2015: canton of Couhé ). The inhabitants are called Voulonnais .

geography

Voulon is located about 26 kilometers south-southwest of Poitiers on the Dive and its tributary Bouleure . The dive flows into the Clain a few hundred meters further on . Voulon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Vivonne in the north, Anché in the south and east and Payré in the south and west.
