Ceaux-en-Couhé is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Valence-en-Poitou with 529 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Arrondissement Montmorillon , in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ) . The inhabitants are called Celléens .

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Ceaux-en-Couhé was merged with four others to form the Commune nouvelle Valence-en-Poitou. The municipality of Ceaux-en-Couhé was part of the canton of Lusignan (until 2015: canton of Couhé ).

geography

Ceaux-en-Couhé is located about 30 kilometers south-southwest of Poitiers on the Bouleure River . Ceaux-en-Couhé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Payré in the north and north-west, Anché in the north and north-east, Champagné-Saint-Hilaire in the east, Vaux in the south, Couhé in the south-west and Châtillon in the west.
