Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the two municipalities of Chauvigny and Sainte-Radégonde was assigned to the Arrondissement Poitiers and the area of the municipality of Angles-sur-l'Anglin to the Arrondissement Châtellerault from the Arrondissement Montmorillon .
