The Arrondissement of Arcachon is an administrative district in the French department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The main town (seat of the sub-prefecture ) is Arcachon .

history

The Arrondissement of Arcachon was formed with effect from January 1, 2007 by spinning off four cantons of the Arrondissement of Bordeaux .
