The Arrondissement Ussel is an administrative unit of the Corrèze department in the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The main town ( sub-prefecture ) is Ussel .

Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the eight municipalities Bonnefond , Gourdon-Murat , Grandsaigne , Lestards , Pradines , Tarnac , Toy-Viam and Viam was assigned to the Arrondissement Tulle from the Arrondissement Ussel .
Instead, the area of the 20 communities Champagnac-la-Noaille , Chapelle-Spinasse , Chaumeil , Égletons , Lafage-sur-Sombre , Lapleau , Latronche , Laval-sur-Luzège , Le Jardin , Marcillac-la-Croisille , Meyrignac changed from the Arrondissement of Tulle -l'Église , Montaignac-Saint-Hippolyte , Moustier-Ventadour , Rosiers-d'Égletons , Saint-Hilaire-Foissac , Saint-Merd-de-Lapleau , Saint-Pantaléon-de-Lapleau , Saint-Yrieix-le-Déjalat , Sarran and Soursac to the Arrondissement of Ussel.
