Grandsaigne ( Grand Sanha in Occitan ) is a French commune in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The residents call themselves Grandsaignois (es).
geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park and is traversed by the Corrèze de Pradines , a right tributary of the Corrèze .
Tulle , the prefecture of the département, is about 37 kilometers slightly southwest, Égletons about 20 kilometers southeast and Ussel about 45 kilometers northeast.
Neighboring communities of Grandseigne are Bonnefond in the north and north-east, Saint-Yrieix-le-Déjalat in the south-east, Chaumeil in the south-west and Pradines in the west and north-west.
The Lac de Viam is about ten kilometers northwest of Grandsaigne.
