The community is located in the Massif Central in the Xaintrie and is surrounded by extensive fields and forests. Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is located around 40 kilometers to the northwest and Argentat 25 kilometers to the southwest and Aurillac in the Cantal about 45 kilometers to the southeast.
