Albussac ( Albuçac in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 731 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Albussacois (es) .

geography

The community is located in the Massif Central and is surrounded by fields and extensive forests. The prefecture of the Tulle department is located a good 20 kilometers to the north-west and Argentat 10 kilometers to the south-east. The Roanne , a tributary of the Corrèze , has its source in the municipality.

Neighboring municipalities of Albussac are Lagarde-Marc-la-Tour with Lagarde-Enval in the north, Forgès in the northeast, Saint-Chamant in the east, Neuville and Ménoire in the south, Beynat in the west and Sainte-Fortunade in the northwest.
