Lacelle ( La Cela in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 137 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Lacellois (es).

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and therefore also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park . The Lac de Viam is located around eight kilometers to the south-east.

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 50 kilometers south, Limoges about kilometers northwest and Treignac about 15 kilometers south.

The place is about 35 kilometers northeast of exit 43 of the Autoroute A20 on the Ribière river .

Neighboring communities of Lacelle are Rempnat in the north, Tarnac in the northeast, Viam in the east, Saint-Hilaire-les-Courbes in the south, Chamberet in the southwest and L'Église-aux-Bois in the west.
