Saint-Hilaire-les-Courbes ( Sent Alari de las Corbas in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 158 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Saint-Hilairois (es).

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and therefore also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park . The place is about seven kilometers east of Lac de Viam .

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 45 kilometers south, Limoges about 65 kilometers northwest and Treignac about 11 kilometers southwest.

The place is about 40 kilometers northeast of exit 44 of the Autoroute A20 .

Neighboring communities of Saint-Hilaire-les-Courbes are Lacelle in the north, Viam in the east, Lestards in the southeast, Treignac in the south and Chamberet in the west.
