Madranges ( Madranjas in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 193 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Madrangeois (es).

geography

The community is located in the Massif Central on the southwestern edge of the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Nature Park Millevaches en Limousin . The municipality is also part of the Massif des Monédières and is crossed by the Madrange river.

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 25 kilometers south, Égletons about 25 kilometers southeast and Uzerche about 20 kilometers southwest.

Neighboring municipalities of Madranges are Affieux in the north, Veix in the northeast, Saint-Augustin in the southeast, Beaumont in the south and Le Lonzac in the west.
