Chanac-les-Mines ( Occitan : Chanac ) is a French municipality with 485 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Chanacois (es). The community is a member of the community association Tulle Agglo .

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central , about six kilometers east of Tulle , the prefecture of the Corrèze department.

Neighboring municipalities of Chanac-les-Mines are Gimel-les-Cascades in the northeast, Saint-Martial-de-Gimel in the east, Laguenne-sur-Avalouze in the south and Tulle in the west.
