Saint-Martin-la-Méanne is a French municipality with 340 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Saint-Martinois (es).

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central and is surrounded by extensive forests, in a southeastern direction the dam of the Chastang reservoir (Barrage du Chastang) is a good two kilometers away. Tulle , the prefecture of the department is located about 33 kilometers northwest and Argentat about 12 kilometers southwest of Saint-Martin.

Neighboring municipalities of Saint-Martin-la-Méanne are Gros-Chastang in the north, Bassignac-le-Haut in the northeast, Servières-le-Château in the east, Saint-Martial-Entraygues in the south, Argentat-sur-Dordogne with Saint-Bazile- de-la-Roche in the southwest, Champagnac-la-Prune in the west and La Roche-Canillac in the northwest.
