The Communauté de communes Xaintrie Val'Dordogne is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Corrèze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on September 15, 2016 and comprises 30 parishes. The administrative seat is in Argentat-sur-Dordogne .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes du Canton de Saint-Privat ,
• Communauté de communes du Canton de Mercœur (with the departure of the municipality Altillac to the Communauté de communes Midi Corrézien ) and
• Communauté de communes du Pays d'Argentat , in which at the same time the commune of Argentat and the commune of Saint-Bazile-de-la-Roche, which comes from the Communauté de communes du Doustre et du Plateau des Étangs , form a commune nouvelle with the name Argentat-sur- Dordogne formed.
