The Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Brive (CAB) is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Corrèze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and comprises 48 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the town of Brive-la-Gaillarde .

Historical development

The community association was created in 2014 from the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté d'agglomération de Brive , Communauté de communes de Juillac-Loyre-Auvézère , Communauté de communes du Pays de l'Yssandonnais , Communauté de communes des Portes du Causse , Communauté de communes Vézère -Causse and some municipalities from the Communauté de communes des trois A: A20, A89 et Avenir .
