The Mairie

Larche is a French commune with 1,583 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Corrèze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Until 2015 it was the main town (chief lieu) of the canton of Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche in the Arrondissement of Brive-la-Gaillarde . The residents call themselves Larchois .

In the northwest, the Vézère takes on the Couze . Both rivers partially form the municipal boundary. In the west and southwest, Larche borders on La Feuillade , Les Coteaux Périgourdins in the Dordogne department . The other neighboring communities are Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche in the north, Lissac-sur-Couze in the east and Saint-Cernin-de-Larche in the south.
