Beyssenac ( Occitan Baissenac ) is a French commune in the department of Corrèze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Beyssenacois , plural Beyssenacoises .

geography

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 55 kilometers southeast, Brive-la-Gaillarde about 45 kilometers slightly southeast and Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche about 20 kilometers northwest. The municipality lies on the western edge of the Massif Central and is bounded in the northeast by the Auvézère , a tributary of the Isle .
