Geography and infrastructure
The commune in the Massif Central region borders on Lascaux to the north, Vignols to the northeast, Saint-Cyr-la-Roche to the southeast, Vars-sur-Roseix and Saint-Cyprien to the south, Ayen and Rosiers-de- Juillac and Chabrignac in the northwest .
The former Route nationale 701 leads via Saint-Bonnet-la-Rivière. It was downgraded to Départementsstraße D2701.
