Branceilles ( Occitan Brancelhas ) is a French commune in the department of Corrèze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine on the western edge of the Massif Central . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Brive-la-Gaillarde and the canton of Midi Corrézien . The inhabitants call themselves Branceillais (es).

geography

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 40 kilometers north, Brive-la-Gaillarde about 27 kilometers northwest and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne about 17 kilometers southeast. Neighboring municipalities of Branceilles are Saint-Julien-Maumont in the north, Curemonte in the east, La Chapelle-aux-Saints in the southeast, Saint-Michel-de-Bannières in the south and Chauffour-sur-Vell in the west.
