Ligneyrac

Ligneyrac ( Occitan Linhairac ) is a French commune with 299 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Corrèze department on the western edge of the Massif Central . The inhabitants call themselves Ligneyracois (es).

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 40 kilometers northeast, Brive-la-Gaillarde about 20 kilometers northwest and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne about 27 kilometers southeast.

The Tourmente , a right tributary of the Dordogne , flows through the southern part of the municipality.

Neighboring municipalities of Ligneyrac are Noailhac in the north, Collonges-la-Rouge in the northeast, Saillac in the east, Sarrazac in the south and Turenne in the west.

Junction 53 to Autoroute A20 is about 15 kilometers to the west.
