Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche ( Occitan : Sent Pantaleon de L'Archa ) is a French municipality with 4777 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Brive-la-Gaillarde and the Canton of Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche . The municipality is a member of the Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Brive . The inhabitants call themselves Saint-Pantaléonnais (es) .
geography
Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche is located on the western edge of the Massif Central , on the Vézère River , in the Brive basin. Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Varetz in the north, Ussac in the northeast, Brive-la-Gaillarde in the east, Lissac-sur-Couze in the southeast, Larche in the south, Pazayac and La Feuillade in the southwest and Mansac in the west .
The A89 car route and the former route nationale 89 run through the municipality . Part of the Brive-Souillac airfield is partly in the municipality.
