geography
Chenailler-Mascheix is located in the Massif Central . In the south, the Dordogne forms the border with Bassignac-le-Bas and partly with Brivezac . The other neighboring communities are Ménoire in the north, Saint-Hilaire-Taurieux and Monceaux-sur-Dordogne in the east, Nonards in the southwest and Tudeils and Lostanges in the west.
