Lampros Kontogiannis (born August 1, 1988 in Manzanillo , Colima ) is a Mexican football player of Greek descent, who mainly acts in defensive midfield .

career

Kontogiannis began his career as a professional player at Club América , for whom he came on August 16, 2008 in an away game at CF Pachuca (1: 1) for his first appearance in the Mexican Primera División . He was also used eleven times for the Socio Águila farm team .

After a stint at the second division club Albinegros de Orizaba , he returned to the first division for the 2011/12 season, but only made two brief appearances there for the UANL Tigres , with which he won the Mexican championship title in the 2011 Apertura . He then played again in the second Mexican division in the 2012/13 season , this time with the UAT Correcaminos . In 2014 he moved to the Peruvian first division club FBC Melgar .
