Lascaux ( Occitan Las Caums ) is a French commune in the department of Corrèze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is a member of the Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Brive . The inhabitants call themselves Lascautois (es).

geography

The community lies on the western edge of the Massif Central . Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 52 kilometers southeast, Brive-la-Gaillarde about 30 kilometers slightly southeast and Uzerche about 32 kilometers northeast.
